Mark Haedo Martinez.
Born in art, built for design.

My childhood smelled like paint, not sandboxes.
What began with brushes and instinct now shapes brands, experiences, and stories. The rule stays the same: purpose comes first.

"Everything started with art.
Design just gave it direction."

Growing up and studying in Paris taught me that design is not about creating beautiful things, but about creating meaning.
It is where I learned to turn ideas into experiences, emotions into intent, and vision into visual language.

Applied Arts taught me precision and craft.
The Higher Institute of Applied Arts (LISAA) taught me to think like a designer, to connect intuition with structure.
Paris gave me the eye, the ability to see detail, rhythm, and balance.

In parallel with my studies in Art, I developed a strong interest in how design and marketing can complement each other to create real value. I built small e-commerce brands from the ground up, even managing product imports to a partner warehouse in Europe, to understand how a coherent vision across identity, experience, and strategy can drive engagement, trust, and performance.

Each project, whether it succeeded or failed, reinforced my belief that good design is not just aesthetic but functional, strategic, and measurable.
That experience shaped the way I lead today, thinking like a creative, acting like a strategist, and delivering like a builder.

After the pandemic, I joined Babylon Sciences in August 2021, a Lausanne-based company at the intersection of design, science, and wellness. As Lead Designer, I strengthened the visual and digital identity of I.D. Swiss Botanicals, elevating its coherence and impact across packaging, e-commerce, and art direction.

I supported the brand’s expansion across Switzerland and Europe, with placements in retailers such as Manor, Nocibé, Gstaad Palace, and Happy Officine. This experience taught me how to refine an existing identity while preserving its DNA, and how to turn creativity into clarity, performance, and emotion.

I joined Salt Mobile in October 2023 and rapidly advanced through three roles in under two years. Today, as Lead UX/UI & E-commerce Manager, I oversee the design and evolution of key digital experiences used by more than 1.7 million mobile and 260,000 fixed-line customers.

I define Salt’s digital design direction, drive all UX/UI and e-commerce initiatives, and lead the development of a scalable Design System. My work spans the redesign of critical customer journeys, the elevation of Salt’s digital brand identity, and the reinforcement of consistency and performance across every platform. I collaborate closely with cross-border engineering teams and am actively structuring the design function as it continues to expand.
